ALOO R DUM (NONVEG) 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 500 gm Potato
  • 2 medium tomato , chopped
  • 1 capsicum , chopped
  • 1" Cinnamon 
  • 4 cardamom 
  • 4 cloves
  • 50 gm white curd 
  • 2 nos medium onion, chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, graded
  • 4-6 flakes garlic,graded
  • 2 chili
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tbsp coriander powder 
  • oil
  • salt to teste

METHOD:

  • boil the potatoes
  • remove the skin of potato & make 2 pieces from each potato 
  • deep fry the potatoes untill golden brown. keep a side
  • add oil in a frying pan.
  • add chilies in it.
  • add cinnamon, cardamom, clove.
  • add onion, ginger & garlic, 7 fry 1 minute
  • add capcicum & fry for 1 minute.
  • add tomato.
  • fry another 1 minute.
  • add turmeric powder, cumin powder & coriander powder
  •  add salt
  • mix it very well and cook for 30 seconds.
  • add white curd & mix it with other ingredients well.
  • add potatoes & mix with ingredients well & add  water .
  • stir over a low heat for 5 minutes
  • add garam masala before turn off flame.
  • garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • serve with roti  or rice.
