GAJAR  HALWA





Ingredients

  • 500 kg Carrots 
  • 1/2 litre Milk 
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom  
  • 3 tablespoons Ghee 
  • Raisins 
  • kaju nuts
  • 250 grams Sugar
  • ¼ cup water



Method:
  •  grate the carrots
  •  add water in a pan, when it starts boiling add the grated carrots.
  •  Cook for 6-8minutes.
  •  Add the milk. Cook in a low flame for 1/2 hour stirring occasionally.
  •  Add sugar in it.
  •  Cook well until sugar dissolved.  
  •  Add ghee and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  •  Add the slightly crushed cardamoms and the raisins and kaju nuts.
  •  Mix well.
  •  Turn of Flame
  •   Serve cold
